These terms govern your use of the RimestDB desktop app and your RimestDB account. The service is provided by Rimest. By creating an account you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy.
License
While you have an active trial or subscription, you may use RimestDB for personal and commercial work. The license is personal and non-transferable, and can be used on the computers you sign in on with your account. You may not copy, redistribute or rent the software, reverse engineer it, or attempt to bypass its license checks. All rights in the software belong to Rimest.
Free trial
New accounts get a 7-day free trial; the trial is given once per computer. No payment details are needed for the trial; when it ends, you need a subscription to continue.
Subscription and payment
A subscription starts when your payment is confirmed and lasts for the plan you chose (monthly or yearly). It does not renew automatically; if you buy again before it ends, the new period is added on top of the time you have left. Prices are shown at the time of purchase. You can pay in the app in two ways: with Nano (XNO) or by card. Nano payments are taken through Rimest's payment service. Card payments are taken in US dollars by our payment provider, Creem: Creem processes the card payment, adds the taxes that apply where you are (such as VAT) to the price on the payment page, and handles refunds and chargebacks; your card details never reach us. Creem's own terms and privacy policy also apply to the card payment.
Withdrawal and refunds
You can ask for a refund within 14 days of your purchase, without giving a reason. Write to [email protected] from the email address of your account. If you paid with Nano, also tell us the Nano address to refund to; the amount of Nano you paid is sent to that address within 14 days. If you paid by card, the refund goes back to the card you paid with through Creem (it may take a few days to show up, depending on your bank), and the tax collected at checkout is refunded too. The refunded subscription time is removed from your account.
Your account
Use an email address you own and keep your account secure; you are responsible for what is done with your account. We may suspend or close accounts that are used abusively, that try to bypass the license, or that otherwise break these terms. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Your data and liability
RimestDB runs the commands you run against your databases; the databases you connect to and what you do with them are your responsibility. We recommend backing up before important operations. The software is provided "as is", without a guarantee that it will run without interruption or errors. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for data loss, lost profits or indirect damages arising from its use, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
Updates and ending the service
We may update the app and add or change features. If we ever discontinue the service, we will announce it at least 30 days in advance and refund the unused part of active subscriptions.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will announce significant changes on the website and in the app; you may need to accept the new terms to keep using RimestDB.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If you are a consumer in another country, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country also apply, and you may bring a claim in the courts where you live.
